ITINERARY

Day One
- Arrive in Sonoma and check-in to what Condé Nast Traveler magazine recognized as “One of the Top 700 Hotels in the World and in the Top 250 in the United States,” the Lodge at Sonoma
- Meet and greet the staff of Gourmet Nomads as well as the fellow foodies going on the culinary journey with you at our exclusive Champagne Reception
- Head out on the town after the reception to the famed Sonoma Plaza for a personal tour of the ‘hot spots’ in town and a chocolate tasting at a local chocolatier
- After a little sightseeing, enjoy an elegant five-course dinner with wine pairings from Sonoma at the city’s legendary The Girl and The Fig restaurant
- Return to the hotel for a peaceful night’s sleep
Day Two
- Awake refreshed and head to the beautiful chef’s garden for a farm-to-table inspired breakfast
- Load up in luxury transportation to head up north to Forni Brown Farms for a tour with Chef Gustavo Rios of Solage Calistoga
- Depart to Anderson’s Conn Valley Vineyards, a boutique and family owned winery known for their Bordeaux style wines consistently rated in the 90’s. While at Conn Valley enjoy a private tour of the caves, tasting of the wines and a five-course epicurean feast prepared by Chefs Ryder Zetts and Gustavo Rios of Solage Calistoga
- Return to the Lodge at Sonoma for a nap or specialized Raindance Spa package to relax before the evening’s festivities
- Regroup in the lobby of the Lodge at Sonoma to be escorted to an intimate and exclusive tasting of artisan cheeses made in Sonoma with fromage expert Sheana Davis
- Enjoy passed hors d’oeuvres and desserts while sipping on the hand-crafted libations of cocktail guru, Scott Beattie
- Scott will conduct a farm-to-table mixology class and cocktail tasting exclusively for the Gourmet Nomads
- After the cocktail class, head upstairs for a relaxing slumber or explore the nightlife in Sonoma before catching some z’s
Day Three
- Awake refreshed and head to the beautiful chef’s garden for a farm-to-table inspired breakfast
- Load up in luxury transportation to head to Sonoma’s celebrated Benziger Family Winery for a tram tour and close-up look at their Biodynamic vineyards, visit the fermentation facility, crush pad and walk through our barrel caves. Enjoy an extensive tasting of their wines including their sister vineyards wines from Imagery Estate Winery
- The experience at Benziger will conclude with a gourmet picnic lunch from Jimtown Store on Benziger’s picturesque 85-acre property
- After a full picnic lunch, head to the esteemed Olive Press for an olive oil tasting and tour of the press and facilities
- Once again, return to the Lodge at Sonoma for a nap or specialized Raindance Spa package to relax before the evening’s festivities
- Gather in the lobby to depart for a culinary adventure like no-other at Test Kitchen. The Test Kitchen meal will be prepared by a well known, well loved and nationally renowned chef in Sonoma
- After the dinner and entertainment of the Test Kitchen has ended for the evening, you will be escorted back to the Lodge at Sonoma for a full night’s sleep
Day Four
- Congregate in the lobby to be taken to a farm-to-table brunch at Sonoma’s own Harvest Moon Café. Gourmet Magazine declared that Harvest Moon Café was one of “America’s Best Farm-to-Table Restaurants” that was “well worth the trip”
- Finally, the farewell brunch will have ended and we will have returned the group to the Lodge at Sonoma for check-out
